The Campus for MAIBS is in the marvellous town of Viterbo. The medieval historical centre will offer you a fabulous panorama and the peace of mind you need to focus. Clubs populated by young students, will make you feel at home no matter where you come from. Furthermore, the University offers accommodations, a sports centre, a library and students associations.
The historic center of the town of Viterbo is one of the best preserved medieval villages in central Italy. Many of the oldest structures (in particular the churches) are built on ancient ruins, identifiable by their large stones, 50 centimetres wide. Viterbo is rare in Italy for its concentration of “profferli”, external stairs that were a frequent characteristic of medieval houses. The San Pellegrino district is full of them, reflecting an architectural style unique to the city and the neighbouring region.
To arrive in Viterbo there are few buses per day arriving from Orte station, which is directly linked to Roma Tiburtina and Roma Termini stations. There are also buses from Rome.
In Viterbo you don’t strictly need a car because the city is small and public transportations are available. More details here below.
